Policies: for home therapy.

A regularly assigned clean team will clean your home. All employees are uniformed and insured.

Many homeowners are not aware of their personal liability regarding work related injury and social security taxes for independent home-service workers. Saving Grace takes care of all this for you. We are insured with general liability insurance and all home therapists are covered by workman’s compensation insurance.

Our normal workdays are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. While in most cases it is not possible to give a specific time we will arrive, we will make every effort to meet your needs.

Some customers prefer to schedule cleaning appointments while they are at work, while others like to be at home during the process. We will work quickly and efficiently so as to cause the least amount of disruption to your day.

For the safety of our customers, we suggest that anyone who is present during our visit refrain from being in the areas that we are cleaning while we clean them or for 30 minutes thereafter. We cannot assume liability for any injuries that may occur from someone slipping on a wet floor or tripping over a cord or other item which we use for cleaning purposes. The customer will assume liability for themselves and any guests or unrestrained pets that are on the premises during cleaning services.

While we make every effort not to break items, accidents do happen. Repair or identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this specific reason, we request all irreplaceable items be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. A damage report will be left by our staff if any damage does take place. We must be notified within 24 hours of service if unreported damage is discovered.

So the time we spend in your home can be as efficient as possible, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys or other household items prior to our arrival. This eliminates your not being able to find stray objects that we would put away in the wrong place, such as a remote control.

Please contact us with specific instructions for your cleaning team, if necessary.

We ask that you remove soiled linens from any bed that you would like remade.  Leave fresh linens out for us and we’ll do the rest!

We ask that you provide us with a set of keys to your home. They will be securely locked at our office when they are not in use by our clean teams.

Saving Grace is closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit we appreciate a 48-hour notice. When short notice is given or if our team is locked out, we charge a $35 cancellation/lock-out fee.

For your convenience, we offer two billing options. We can bill by credit card with a card on file on the day of service or we accept payment by check or cash at the time of service.

Payment that is not received at the time of service is subject to a $10.00 charge.

Tips to make your experience better:
+ Hang picture frames and mirrors on sturdy wall hooks appropriate for the weight of the hanging item. Also inspect the hanging wire and replace if deteriorated. Place bumper guards on the backside corners of wall hangings to keep the wall paint from getting scratched.
+ Place felt padding on the feet of furniture that rests on hardwood floors to avoid scratching the floor when moving furniture around.
+ Check and repair loose or broken items such as towel racks, toilet paper holders, microwave and refrigerator handles, glass shelves, etc.
